Bengal is famous for the beauty, their culture and macchi bhat. Bengali girls are renowned for the beautiful eyes and hair. The marriages are too good to see. I have attended the shaadi of one of my friend and it was the joy for me to see such a beautiful Indian culture. They are the strong worshipper of the Devi Durga that’s why they give her fish. Usually the marriage are arranged by the ghotoks.they are the matchmakers who makes the contact between the family
Engagement ceremony-it is called patri patra ceremony .In this ceremony the bride and the groom family give the marriage card to the other family and then the engagement or ring ceremony is done.
Decoration –Alpana the rangoli with all the colours are made at the door to welcome the guest.
Vridhi ceremony-In this ceremony the ancestors are worshipped for the good marriage life of the bride groom
Dodhi mangal –In these ceremony the 10 women give the water to the bride or the bathe than they are offered the curd with the rice and fish. This ceremony is done in both the houses
Wedding Piris-this is the wooden plank decorated by the relatives in which the bride and groom are sits.
Tattavas-it is the ceremony of exchanging the gifts between the bride and groom
Then bride wear the red banarsi sari and the groom wear the cotton dhoti kurat and marriage with the saat phere and vidai is done.

Fever of celebrating wedding in big hotels and beaches is now going on and on in India but I thing capability to do these type of expensive wedding is not comes in everyone’s budget because in India peoples are present of different status, I mean to say rich, poor and middle class families.

Wedding in big hotels and beaches is the work of rich persons who have uncountable money but the right of wedding is given by our almighty god to every single person but every person is not capable to these types of wedding and I have described above why.
The most important part of wedding is temple because it’s the place where you get full blessing of our lord because we are all known it very well that temple is the home of our lord and in India maximum number of persons done Shaadi in temples and this process of doing shaadi in temples have been coming form starting so if you don’t have enough money for celebrating your wedding in big hotels and beaches then temple is best for you.

Indian wedding is famous in all over the world for its royalty and wedding dress. Indian wedding is the ceremony where we can see Indian diversity of dresses. Sari is the common wedding dress for bride in India even though Ghangra Choli is in trend of bride dress.
There are some colors which have special value on wedding dress like red and yellow. Red color is the symbol of good luck therefore most of the bride dresses to be red. It is considered that a red color brings happiness in the life of new married couple.
The materials which reflect much light are used in wedding dress like chiffon, satin and silk. There are some saris that mostly wore on wedding ceremony like Bandhani, Kanjeevaram and Baluchari. Now a days there are many verity of wedding dresses in the market and some bride like to wear them on wedding. Indian groom wear shirt with coat and paint. In old time groom used to wear Dhoti and Kurta but at present mostly grooms like wear shirt and paint on wedding.

Arya Samaj Wedding is only performed in Hindu communities. The rule and regulation of ancient Hindu marriage are followed in Arya Samaj Wedding. Swami Dayanand Saraswati was the creator of Arya Samaj and his teaching about wedding is kept in mind during marriage. An Arya Samaj Wedding is done according Arya Samaj validation act XIX of 1937. There is no one God is worshiped in this type of marriage even though ‘Pooja’ ceremony is done and fire, water and other natural elements are worshiped. The priest read religious chants and makes understand both bride and groom importance of wedding and life along with give a lot of bless for their happy marriage life.
There are many rituals also performed in Arya Samaj Wedding some of them are Parikrama, Pani Grahan, Madhuparka and Shilarohan. Bride gives three times water to groom after that groom takes Madhuparka. It is made with help of curds, honey and cream. Groom has to take concoction in Arya Samaj Wedding in India.  Â
Arya Samaj Wedding has done in very simple way in regards of other marriage. There is no need of decoration, pomp and show and other spare expenditure.
