The first ritual that is held after the engagement is Ganpati Stapana or griha parvesh. This ceremony is manner to look for the blessings of God so that all goes on easily. After this, a further ceremony is held which is called pithi dastoor. A glue of turmeric and sandal are useful on the body of groom. Four women have to grasp the awning. Paste is then applied on the bride.
Marriage gives a basis of entertainment for the entire community. Men and women meet at diverse places and dholak is played. The maternal uncles of together boy and girl come amidst the celebration and provide gifts and cash to the relatives members.
