Love is the most beautiful feeling and every body wants life partner whom he/she love the most. What to do love or arranged marriage is the issue in the eastern country where the tradition of arranged married is predominant. Most of the Indian couple is getting love marriage. First the parent gets angry and after that they will slowly gets cool and start to support them. Love marriage has its pros and cons. If the love is true the love gets increased day by day. If the love is infatuation it will not sustain for the more time. Education and the empowerment have changed the perception of Indian mind very fast. The love marriage provides the time and mutual understanding before the marriage which can help the spouse to make the strong relation in their life. The love marriage has stopped the dowry system and caste system. The problem is that parents gets angry and the tear and sorrow produces. This spoils your parents dream that saw it for you. Both marriages are idle. It depends on the way you recognize or perceive your marriage.

We always hear the story that a bride is very beautiful and educated in spite of this she brings the cash and essential household goods with her. At that time the bride’s family feels very happy and proud that they have given every thing to her daughter according to their means by taking loans. You think that you have done a good job by satisfying your relatives by giving them necessary money and belongings. At time say after 6-8 months the groom family put in some more demands. But you have kept flesh of meet in the lion’s mouth and now you are expecting that he will not eat the same. Every body accepted the fact that Indian women are most traditional and faithful wives but is it correct to torture them for the greed of dowry? In 1974 the dowry victims were 3-5% and now it has becomes 25-30% and still rising day by day. The 35 % cases are of dowry that daily registered in the police files. Even though the women are top ranked in the world their condition is quite miserable. There are various campaigns that are organized in India and outside in which the youth has taken the oath that they will not give or take any thing in the name of dowry. All these movements become nominal as the dowry system is still prevalent and has become a token sign of the prestige and fashion.

We heard from our parents that god makes marriages. But the face that Indian marriages have taken is become the home of various issue. No doubt the foreigners are attracted by the Indian custom and tradition but only an Indian can know the depth of its pros and cons.
Dowry system -Parents is having the responsibility of his son or daughter marriage. A girl is given to the unknown home with lots of dowry to live her life happily. This system is coming from very before when law has not made (now made in 1961) that a daughter have the right to take part in the parents wealth so in the name of wealth the parent give some part of his wealth’s the name of dowry. But nowadays in spite of the law made for daughter, the people think that it is the symbol of prestige.
Marriages has become the sign of status of the family so every body has started to expense a lot which can be helpful in sustaining any body in this world in which every second a person is dieing with the hunger.
Marriages are arranged by matching the kundli but it becomes not so important to meet the person who will live their life with each other.The girl is not allowed to continue the education after the marriage and started to do the household work.
Remarriage-generally higher caste avoids the widow remarriage and it is the tradition of lowercased to do the widow remarriages.
