The wedding rituals are performed to remember ancient Hindu culture. In Arya Samaj marriage no God is worshipped, even instead of it natural elements such as fire, air and water is worshipped.

Some rituals and customs are similar in Arya Samaj Wedding to Hindu wedding such as Madhuparka, Parikrama, Shilarohan and Pani Grahan.
The bride offers holy water three times to groom in the Madhuparka ritual after that groom have to taken Madhuparka. It is made of honey, cream and curds. Panigrahan is the most important wedding ritual in which groom holds the hands of bride and make promises to live together in all circumstances including good and bad. Thus Arya Samaj Wedding is not lavish like other weddings.
